| Synopsis : | With the objective of introducing original local comics to the masses, the 100% Gempak Starz Exhibition is organised by Art Square Group, the largest comic magazines and graphic novels publisher in Malaysia. To date, it has published hundreds of Gempak Starz local graphic novels and produced limited edition merchandise. The exhibition is also being held in conjunction with the celebration of the 100th issue of Comic King magazine, and the 10th year celebration of Gempak magazine. This event is a good opportunity for comic fans to meet, be acquainted with, and learn about the lives and experiences of Art Square Group’s comic artists. Original artworks created by Keith, Kaoru, Slaium, Jo, Puppeteer, Puyuh and many more will be on display. Look out also for other activities like seminars by Tan Eng Huat and Michael Chuah, who'll talk about their experiences as a comic artist; live demonstrations by artists like Puyuh and Puppeteer; the launch of Art Square Group's first English comic art called Popcorn; a discussion session by Art Square Group's comic editors, and loads more!
