| Synopsis : | For most people, their concept of water is limited to how many bottled varieties exist, or perhaps the occasional paddle at the seaside.
Artist Hannah Campion has a totally different perspective where water is concerned - her affinity with water and swimming also translates into inspiration for her painterly practice. Hannah studied fine art at Loughborough University where she developed her innate talent for painting. As an accomplished Scuba Diver, Free Diver and underwater photographer, Hannah collects source material from landscapes, seascapes and underwater environments as far afield as the Pacific & Fiji, to The Red Sea, Asia, Thailand and the Atlantic. With numerous exhibitions under her belt, this marks Hannah’s first exhibition in Asia, and is a culmination of a year of hard work, coupled with a 2-month residency in partnership with Gallerie TAKSU. |
