This series of paintings depict the impasse that people face in their daily existence. The artist takes us on a trip through what all of us experience. Our daily life is very similar to what the world faces in the current economic crisis. We are bombarded with crisis in many aspects of our lives - sentiments, behaviours, emotions, are some of these crisis. The paintings are about you & me - it's about us.
The artist observes and records through his paintings how people deal with the contemporary issues in their lives. He notes that sometimes we feel that we have reached an impasse. And as we age, we feel more and more lonely. There's no time for friends or for relaxation. Not even enough time in which to earn enough.
So, where and when can we take time to relax and rediscover ourselves? The artist offers what you can enjoy anywhere and at anytime - paintings, for they can refresh and relax you. |
