RECOMMENDED! Hmm ... how timely a play! What's more, it's Joanna Bessey's take on Arthur Miller's take on Henrik Ibsen. And I've never come away from a Joanna Bessey stage performance feeling let down.

| I have to write this comment rather briefly due to time constraint. Anyway, I watched Enemy of the People last night and it was fantastic! I'll tell you in a list why... 1. The acting style is synchronized. Commendable performance (except for the little girl ..looked a bit too RTM-ish) 2. Great production design 3. Great storyline-puts me to tears (in a good way) when I watched the "voting with the public" scene Great GREAT!! GREAAAAT!!! watch it as u guys out there still have time... p/s:i didint really get the malysian/English fusion though but I really enjoyed myself..Kudos, guys!

| In some key respects, maybe a little more "less is more". More bacteria (silently) lurking -- before Jaws starts churning. The constant high pitch, however, did not prevent me from enjoying the play and the production's many plus points :) This is an interesting bunch of actors to watch. Details (scene transitions, set, etc) were fun. There is a real sense of physical danger -- umbrella being swung like some helicopter rotor blade, rocks sailing through the air. And most unsettling of all -- that mob...now here's where more definitely turned out to be more! Thank you, cast and production team.

| I thorouly enjoyed the play because I saw it more than once. At first I thought, is this going to be a bit boring? But it did not turn out to be. The story is really great. It makes you think. It makes you think of how politians work, of how things are polluted and nothing is being done about it, how when you tell the truth no one will believe you and how we don't have freedom of speech. I hope you get what I mean. If you saw it on the opening, well then you should have saw it again if you didn't as it was better on the other night when I went. I think they all did a good job. It wasn't perfect but it sure was entertaining. One of the best Malaysian theater plays I have seen. Of course I seem to be writing after it is over.
