| Synopsis : | 'Carnival' is the theme for the 5th Annual BOH Cameronian Arts Awards 2006 awards ceremony, and boy what a carnival of a year 2006 was... Big, bright, colourful, moving, strong - the nominees for this year represent the best and brightest from music, dance and theatre productions performed throughout the Klang Valley in the year past. Will it be the year for big budget productions to sweep the awards? Or will the smaller but no less worthy acts come out tops? Have a gander at the list of Nominees for this year and decide yourself. All will be revealed on the 6th of May 2007 - yup, we're doing it on a Sunday night this time round. Hosts for the night are Mia Palencia and Shanon Shah, and the ceremony will feature clips from all the nominated shows, award presentations by celeb presenters and more. Following the awards ceremony is the Heineken Post-Awards Party, which will open with a thumping, roaring performance by those lovely people from Hands Percussion. DJ Callen takes the reins after, as you drink, bitch, dance, schmooze and make merry the night through. **The awards ceremony was initially scheduled to take place on Sun, 29 Apr 2007. But due to completely unforeseen circumstances, we've had to push it to the following week. So re-mark your diaries, the party is now on Sun, 6 May 2007! Our apologies for this royally painful turn of events. |
