Title: The Legend of Bayang Gerna

The Kingdom of Seri Rama is at peace, and as such, Seri Rama desires to invite his subjects and neighbouring kings for a feast. He sends an emissary to his close friend, the Maharaja Ratu Seri Lakluh. During the journey, the royal message is inadvertently lost. As the return journey would take too long, the emissary decides to rewrite the invitation on a leaf. However, the Ratu Seri Lakluh is angry at receiving the invitation on a leaf and a quarrel ensues.

Raden Lakjuna has fallen in love with the princess, Tuan Puteri Rana Udang, the daughter of Ratu Seri Lakluh. She is already bethrothed to Bayang Gerna and they await the naming of the date of their marriage. Raden Lakjuna abducts Tuan Puteri Rana Udang and puts her under the protection of Hanuman Kera Putih, his brother. He returns to confront Bayang Gerna.

Hanuman Kera Putih puts his sperm into gold and silver pudding leaves and flings them into the sea. The sperm is swallowed by the tamban siling fish and after ten days. It brings forth two sons of Hanuman Kera Putih, Demi Kala Sinar Ketak Pahlawan Ikan and Demi Kala Sinar Ketak Hulubalang Ikan.

Bayang Gerna is in a duel with Raden Lakjuna. The two sons of Hanuman Kera Putih appear to fight with Bayang Gerna and finally are able to defeat him. And so Raden Lakjuna marries Tuan Puteri Rana Udang.

Title: The Legend of Dewa Kertapati

Dewa Kertapati requests Sang Senohong Wan Agung Dewa Bentara Guru to go down into the human realm. His desire is to meet up with the venerable grand children of Maha Raja Bersenu. He goes down disguised as Jintan Emas Indera Rupa and gets adopted by Pak Miskin and Mak Miskin. Raden Lakjuna and Raden Lakpalembang leave the palace of Seri Rama to observe the goings-on of the people in the business of bartering and selling.

The ministers of the kingdom of Bota Gelang Gelita are in a conference. They must choose a suitable bridegroom from among the many suitors who have come for the hand of the king's daughter. The princess is sent to Nenek Raja Jin, where she is transformed into a flower and kept in a peti gewang. The peti gewang is guarded by Doha Seri Penjaga and taken to Padang Sagong Empat, and proclaimed that whoever can kill the Jin Doha and re-transform the Princess, will be given her hand in marriage.

Many princes and ethereal beings confront the Jin but are all defeated, including Raden Lakjuna and Raden Lakpalembang. Finally Jintan Emas Indera Rupa comes and is able to defeat Jin Doha. He takes away the flower, leaving behind the peti gewang. Raden Lakjuna returns and is mistakenly judged by the Prime Minister to have defeated Jin Doha.

Nenek Raja Jin gives Raden Lakjuna three days, then seven days to re-transform the princess back from a flower, otherwise the kingdom of Seri Rama will be invaded. Seri Rama calls for a conference and Pak Dogol goes up to the skies to investigate. He discovers that Dewa Kertapati has disguised himself as Jintan Emas. Sang Senohong goes down to earth to persuade Dewa Kertapati but he is adamant. Sang Senohong curses him to be transformed into a tiger, the Harimau Besar Serjan Kilat. He can only be re-transformed if he is struck with the arrow of someone who has two names.

The tiger creates havoc in the kingdom of Seri Rama. Seri Rama shoots him with an arrow and immediately, the tiger is changed back to Dewa Kertapati, who then surrenders the flower. However, the flower cannot be re-transformed into the princess as it has been touched by an ethereal being. Finally it is Seri Rama who is able to bring the princess back from being a flower. She and Raden Lakjuna are then married.
