| Synopsis : | After the critical and box office success of the staging of The 2nd First Bolehwood Awards in December last year, The Instant Cafe Theatre has decided to take the show on a second run in July 2003. But this time it's shorter. Sharper. Funnier. The 2nd First Annual Bolehwood Awards is an awards ceremony, hosted by the notoriously funny Miss Ribena Berry, that spoofs everything under the Malaysian sun and no one, no institution, no projek, no cultural norm is spared. Featuring Sean Ghazi, Jo Kukathas, Edwin Sumun, Shanthini Venugopal, Ghafir Akbar, Soefira Jaafar, Rashid Salleh, Maya Abdullah, Manesh Nesaratnam, Nell Ng, and Patrick Teoh. In English. There will be a fund raiser on July 09 in aid of The Actors Studio and Dama House who recently lost their homes and belongings to flood waters. There will also be an extra show on July 11 with the theme "Midnight Madness Mayhem and Makan". This special Midnight Show of the Bolehwood Awards includes free food & drinks for all "vampires" and other night birds. |
