Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka and Agitprop Theatre Group present a dark humour-laced adaptation of National Laureate Shahnon Ahmad's controversial novel of the same title. The story revolves around Mat Isa and his family who are padi farmers in a very remote village in Kedah. Their lives get turned upside down when eldest daughter Chah brings home a television set, followed by a DVD player and pornographic discs. Mat Isa slowly becomes influenced by what he sees and almost ends up having sex with Chah before trying to rape Hasanah, another of his daughters.
