Synopsis :

A Celebration of Malaysian Arts by Lancome is ... just that. An evening to celebrate the diversity, creativity and energy of Malaysian Performing Arts.

  • Ramli Ibrahim of Sutra Dance Theatre will dance a contemporary piece mixing Odissi and Bharatanatyam with Guna and Leena
  • Michael Veerapen, Lewis Pragasam, Greg Lyons, Zailan Razak, Kairubakaran will play parts of "Scintillations", composed by Michael Veerapen and Saidah Rastam.
  • Jo Kukathas and the Instant Cafe Theatre Company will present some of the satirical sketches they have become famous for. Jo will also surprise the audience with ... something different.
  • Sean Ghazi will sing, dance and act (an excerpt of "Notes on Life & Love & Painting" by playwright Huzir Sulaiman)
  • Tandak Dance Theatre will be performing Zapin Hanuman, a dynamic traditional dance from Johor Baru.
  • Jaya Shekar and her musicians will play Carnatic music.
  • Contemporary dancer Weijun will present a new piece.
  • And the show will be presented by Chacko Vadaketh.
