| Synopsis : | A double bill, presented by TEA Theatre: Cheras Cheras by Power Tea Generation One ordinary night, six ordinary Cheras residents experience a collective mental outburst that changes their lives. Each one respond to the outburst in a different way, spurring them to find the right answer to their predicament. Presented in six sketches that are in turns funny, serious, outlandish and surreal, Cheras Cheras is a modern-day meditation on the fast changing life in the city and how it affects us in fundamental ways. ~ Neverland by Tea Teens Neverland is a multimedia theatrical experience dealing with existential issues that affect us today. Neverland is music, physical performance, rapping, recitations. Neverland is about instant gratification and the pleasure principle. Neverland is about a delusion of the ideal. Neverland is an escape from reality. ~ Both plays will be performed in Mandarin. The running time of the show is 1 hour and 45 minutes with a 10-minute intermission. |
