| Synopsis : | Cameronian nominee Adam Farouk reunites with American a cappella boy band The Breakers to perform contemporary rock hits from artistes like Maroon 5, George Michael, and U2, classic pop songs from Stevie Wonder, as well as original compositions from Adam himself.
The Breakers are Adam Farouk (percussionist), Andy Goldin (flexi tone), Chris Wilderman (bass), Gregory Pratt (alto) and Steve Engelbrecht (tenor). They are a subset of The Hangovers, an all-male a cappella group, which is a subset of the Cornell University Glee Club, the university's oldest student organisation. Adam studied music at Cornell. The Breakers conduct a Master Class on Apr 16 (3 pm). The audience of this special session will see a shorter performance by the group, but will be invited on-stage to learn and practice with the singers in the second half of the afternoon. |
