| Synopsis : | One of Farid Ali's latest pet projects is The Mr Gambus Acoustic Project, who are a unit of six musicians with strong roots in jazz and world music. Handpicked by Farid thanks to their musical prowess, the group collectively produces experimental acoustic music that blends both East and West influnces. “Mr Gambus Acoustic Project” is Mohammed Zapuan on acoustic guitar, Daniel Foong on bass, Bada and Justin Lim on percussion, Kesavan on Indian flutes and Farid on the gambus and vocals. Their repertoire consists of Farid’s original compositions and some covers. |
