29-31, Jalan Raja Chulan
Kuala Lumpur
Date & Time : Sat 17 May 2008 (6pm - 7pm)

Synopsis : Peter Sigmann was the organist, cantor, choral and orchestral director at Christuskirche, Heidelberg, Germany for about 40 years, before recently retiring.

A native of Heidelberg, he has toured all over Germany and Europe, performing on some of the world’s best pipe organs.

He has given many church music concerts in numerous churches in Germany, like the Heilig Geistkirche, and playing also on the famous Amorbach organ.

Every summer, Peter travels to holiday areas of the Baltic Sea and gives free organ and singing concerts in many of the churches there.

This is Peter’s first visit to Malaysia and he will perform on St. Andrew’s Riddell-Eminent organ.

The one hour programme will feature organ works by JS Bach, Johann Walther, Vincent Luebeck, and Peter Sigmann himself.

There will be an appeal for contributions to the St. Andrew’s Organ Fund - but no obligations whatsoever though).
