| Synopsis : | If you play jazz, pop, funk, swing or latin music -- whether on the piano, bass, saxophone, clarinet, violin, drums or sing -- you're more than welcome to strut your stuff at The Attic's Sunday Jazz Jam session. Each week, the House Band will kick off the evening and as the evening progresses, the host will call up whoever is in the house, mixing and matching combinations to see 'What Will Happen?'. This is a guarantee for totally original performances each week! Hosted By Llew Marsh, and featuring performances by House Band The Trouble Clefs, with Daniel Veerapen on Piano, Hiro on Bass and Steve Rivers on Drums. Daniel Veerapen is a Composer, Music Producer and Arranger who has worked in the English and Chinese Jazz and Pop fields. Although as a performer his forte is jazz, he also has a passion for chill and lounge music. Hiroaki Makaewa plays the Bass Guitar, Double Bass and Fretless bass and he is an amazing performer to watch, whether when playing Jazz, Funk, Rock, Pop or Blues! Stever Rivers also plays the piano besides the drums, and has a sense of humour to boot. Blues, Jazz and Latin are his best styles. Llew Marsh (Host) is a Producer, Musical Director and Pianist who plays everything from Pop, Cabaret, Jazz, Soul, Gospel and Rock. He specialty is collaborating with Vocal Soloists to deliver fun and exciting performances everytime. |
