| Synopsis : | Matthew Thomas's Tales from the Court and other stories is a compendium of short stories, which gives us vignettes from Kuala Lumpur of the 1950's. Some of the colourful characters you will encounter - Eddodes, the creative and legendary builder of castles in the air; Boniface 'Birdie Boy' Ratnayake, the aspirant judge; Musso the exorcist; Mike Kumar, the confidence trickster, and loads more. Attending the function and launching the book all the way from France will be Matthew Thomas's friend, Mohamed M Keshavjee, who also wrote the afterword in the book. |
