| Synopsis : | The Independence Project is a collaborative exhibition of notable contemporary Australian and Malaysian artists, whose exciting new works explore notions of artists’ independence in the creation of art, as well as its dialogue and presentation within contemporary society. The Independence Project displays a diverse range of artworks including video installation, painting, installation and sculpture, which provoke important questions about how and why artists make their work; highlighting boundaries, challenges and success.
