| Synopsis : | The Setitik Embun concert is a charity event in aid of the Malaysian Red Crescent Society, which is celebrating its 60th year of existence in this country in 2008. Set to perform are Chong Kok-Ting (piano) and soprano Irma Lailatul Munir, and there will also be special poetry readings by Malaysian National Laureate, YBhg Datuk A. Samad Said and YBhg. Datuk Nordin Razak. Here's the programme: Improvisation in B Minor - Poulenc (Piano Solo) Mokhtar Embut: Senyum Dalam Derita Aku Ingin Kasih dan Pelukis Irama Desa Malam Menara Setitik Embun Improvisation in C Minor (Hommage a Edith Piaf) - Poulenc (Piano Solo) Villanelle - Eva Dell’Acqua Ave Maria - Charles Gounod Les filles de Cadix - Leo Delibes Presented by NN Gallery and the Malaysian Red Crescent Society. Proceeds raised will be chanelled to Malaysian Red Crescent Society and all donations are tax exempt. |
