Synopsis : Erica Eaton, co-founder of the international artists and activists’ collective the Evolutionary Girls Club, will be giving an artist’s talk entitled “Arts for Social Change”, with screenings of her video works. 

Erica is also an educator, new media artist, book editor, feminist and activist.

There will also be a Q&A session where audience can interact with the artist. This will be Erica’s first South East Asia trip as a visiting artist and she'll also be presenting in Bali, Indonesia and Singapore.

The Evolutionary Girls’ Club is an international group of artists, scholars and activists who deal with issues around voice, access and privilege through the making and exhibiting of art.

Organised by the Studio in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur (SiCKL) with the support of the Central Market Annexe, Kuala Lumpur.
