Synopsis : Veteran jazz singer Mandy Gaines is a talented and versatile entertainer, with more than fifteen years of professional experience.

Mandy began singing in high school, community and professional theatre.

In 1988, Mandy was recruited by Coca-Cola Taiwan to become part of an original recording and performing group, MIT. With the band, she toured island wide to promote their release, “We can be one”.

She also went on to record with several Asian pop stars as well as maintaining a spot on-air radio personality at I.R.I.T., Taiwan’s number one American Chinese language radio station.

After leaving the M.I.T band, Mandy began her jazz trio and continued to perform until 1991.

Upon her return to the United States, Mandy was selected to be the opening act for Herbie Hancock and shortly after that was nominated Best R&B Vocalist at Cincinnati’s Annual Music Award show, The Cammy’s.

In 1995, Mandy started touring Europe and has since returned there regularly to perform at numerous jazz clubs and festivals.

Upon returning to Asia in the late 90’s, Mandy recorded with Taiwanese pop star Emil Chou. In 2002, she staged her own major concert there accompanied by “Blaze,” Texas’ number one jazz group.

Mandy continues to travel and perform and record around the world, and she most recently held residences in jazz clubs in Paris, Brussels, Helsinki, Bangkok, and performed at Festival International de Jazz in Senegal.

Here’s your chance to catch this multi talented vocalist's interpretations of Jazz, R &B, Soul as well as her own original compositions.
