Synopsis : Khazanah Brickfields is a "record" of the story of Brickfields, its heritage buildings, the stories of the people who live and work here, past and present.

The result of the recently concluded Digi Amazing Malaysians - Treasure Keeper of Kuala Lumpur's "Khazanah Brickfields" Heritage Education programme, this journey of discovery involved over 60 young people between the ages of 10 and 16 from SK (P) Methodist 1, SJK (C) St Theresa, SK La Salle Brickfields (2), SMK Vivekananda and SMK Sri Pantai.

View the variety of artistic renditions produced by these young people, such as the video entitled "Ranjau Kehidupan," and the three issues of "Brickfields Kita" among others.

~
The Digi Amazing Malaysian programme – founded on the belief that to preserve tradition, it is necessary to preserve the ability of people to practise it – has identified five broad areas of heritage to focus on, namely natural, cultural, art, built and social heritage.

Via individual projects, DiGi hopes to contribute in a real and meaningful way to strengthening the links between Malaysia’s past and its present as well as future and in the process, also aims to put meaning and substance into technology and progress.
