Synopsis : This classic story written by Hans Christian Andersen spins the tale of an Emperor who loved beautiful clothes and was tricked by two swindlers into believing that the clothes which they could weave were not only exceptionally beautiful, but also invisible to any man who was unfit for his office or stupid.

The Emperor, his court officials and countrymen were blinded by their vanity and got caught in a web of delusion.

Only the brave innocence of a child can truly expose them for what they have become…

Presented in an intimate performance setting, with songs and audience participation, The Little Company’s production promises to teach children and adults alike to always stand up for what they believe in and not to be led blindly by others.

A classic fairy tale for 2 to 6 year-olds, adapted and directed by Michael Corbidge.
