Synopsis : Amnesty International Malaysia is organising a  Poster Design Competition, on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).

Rules & Regulations:

Eligibility:
Open to all residents in Malaysia.

Entry Guidelines:
- Entries must be an individual piece
- Entries must stick to the theme 'UDHR' Universal Declaration of Human Rights
- Entries will not be returned. By entering the Contest, contestants agree to abide by these rules, and represent and warrant that the entries are their own and original creations.
- Entries are void if they are in whole or in part illegible, incomplete or damaged. No responsibility is assumed for late, lost, damaged, incomplete, illegible, postage due or misdirected mail entries.
- Poster Size should be A3 or standard art block size.
- You can send in as many entries as you like but entitled to only one (1) prize

Judging:
All Eligible entries received will be judged by a qualified board of local activists chosen by Amnesty International Malaysia. Submissions will be judged on content, clarity and originality. Judges will look for clear, concise design that is original, articulate, logically organized, and well-supported. Winning designs/Posters must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the 'UDHR' as it pertains to Malaysia.

Awards will be given to the top three entries selected, and there are to be Consolation Prizes too.

Welllllll it seems like there's a lot of freedom of expression. No locked-down theme. Universal Declaration of Human Rights that no country has actually paid much attention to, so I think its high time we did something like this!

this isn't the kind of competition one joins with the prize in mind. one does wonder why amnesty bothered mentioning prizes here at all.
