Public funding to promote the sustainable development and professionalism of performing arts in Malaysia.
Description
This grant will be disbursed to compensate the fixed costs, which are venue, light and sound as well as rehearsal space, for successful applications.
Only productions with confirmed dates and venue(s) will be considered. An official letter of confirmation from venue(s) is needed as proof. Disbursement of grant funds for the fixed cost will go directly to the venue/supplier one [1] month before staging. Please state if your production has free admission or is a ticketed show in the form.
The total grant amount will not exceed RM35,000 to selected Malaysian productions.
Deadlines
- The first call for submissions takes place from 9 November 2012 to 8 January 2013 for productions to be staged between 1 March 2013 and 31 August 2013.
- The second call for submissions will take place from 1 March 2013 to 30 April 2013 or productions to be staged between 1 June 2013 and 31 December 2013.
