In continuation with the success of the MPO Happy Hour series, there will be a special showcase themed Gamelan Beats on Tuesday, 5 June 12 at 6.30 p.m. at Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS (DFP), KLCC.
Come and join the musicians from ASWARA Gamelan Ensemble as they present a selection of gamelan tunes with a contemporary flavour. They will perform famous works such as Sireh Junjung, Tarian Ayak-Ayak, Togok Overture, Merak Emas, Ganda Melati, Turun Gambang and many more!

The special showcase will be led by Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO)’s cellist Julie Dessureault.
